Wynnum Redlands Cycling

1. Eligibility
   1. Riders must be members of the Wynnum Redlands Cycling Club and hold a valid race license that has the “Wynnum Redlands Cycling Club” listed as the nominated club.
   2. Any licensed rider that transfers into the club will be subject to the following conditions.

                                          i.    Any race results achieved prior to their transfer to the Wynnum Redlands Cycling Club will not be considered and points will not be awarded.

                                         ii.    Membership to the Wynnum Redlands Cycling Club must be maintained for the remainder of the calendar year.

1. Nominated Races
   1. Creastmead Series

                                          i.    Only 1 result can be used and the competition date provided prior to the series start.

                                         ii.    The competition date must be nominated no later than the Saturday prior to the first race of the series and must be communicated to a member of the club executive.

                                        iii.    If a competition date is not provided, points will be awarded base on the result of the first race of the series. Any results from subsequent races from within the series will not be considered.

2. Anzac Day Criterium
3. Metropolitan Championships (road race only)
4. Charles coin road race
5. Cunningham Classic
6. Grafton to Inverell
7. Allocation of Points
   1. Points will awarded for each event as follows:-

• 1^st  – 10pts
• 2^nd – 7pts
• 3^rd – 5pts
• 4^th -  3pts
• 5^th – 2 pts
• Participation – 1pt

1. Points will awarded to the rider only after verification of their placing by posted results from either the host club or Cycling Qld. In the event that results below 3^rd place aren’t posted or the rider failed to place within the top 5 positions, then the rider must notify a member of the club executive of their result or their participation in order for points to be awarded.
2. The winner of the series will be determined by the rider with the highest number of total points based on their best four results from the nominated races.
3. In the event two or more riders are equal on points at the end of the year, a count back of results (based on the number of highest placings) will determine the series winner.
4. Presentations will occur at the following AGM.
