Tuesday and Thursday morning FAD (Flogg’em And Drop’em) "Crank session"
Group 1 (~50k, 40kph avg)
Not for the faint at heart. This is good race and crit training. We meet outside Banjo's at 5:00am. Remember to bring lights on your bike in winter. We do five out and back loops around Raby Bay at close to race pace. Stragglers can easily get back onto the group because it is out and back. On Tuesdays some of the boys bring out their time trial bikes and do the session as a set of 4 individual time trials.

Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday Morning Rides - Mt Gravatt Hill Climb
(Challenge yourself or Climb at your own pace)

Rides departs from McDonalds in Capalaba at 5.00am sharp via Old Cleveland & Creek Roads (or show up at Shire Rd Mt Gravatt approx 5.40am) and do repeat climbs up to the Lookout - approx 1.8km. Time yourself and monitor your improvement. Careful on the downhills and U-turning at the bottom as this is a popular busy Training venue. Save some gas for the return as Creek Road is also hilly. Only small WRCC numbers so join a group for your day to make sure that you are not out there alone - See Notes.
